Family of student killed by falling AC unit applies for state-funded restitution

The family of a 21-year-old student killed by an air conditioning unit that fell 17 stories onto a New Taipei street has applied for state-funded restitution of NT$1.8 million (US$56,754), the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) said Friday.
