Egg import program identifies substandard supply from Turkey: FDA

A government program to import eggs from nine countries, introduced earlier this year in an effort to address a supply shortage in Taiwan, recently identified substandard supply from Turkey totaling 127.62 metric tons in weight, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Tuesday.
