Shopee, Eslite bookstore fined following data leaks

The Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) on Tuesday imposed financial penalties on Singapore-based online marketplace Shopee and local bookstore Eslite for failing to protect customer data, in the wake of phishing scams involving the two companies.
