Following the filing of a request with a local court for the appointment of a ship manager by Taiwan's Maritime and Port Bureau (MPB), in a case where the crew of a cargo vessel docked at Kaohsiung Harbor have been unable to leave the vessel for more than six months, the crew could finally be allowed to leave Taiwan next week.
