Torrential rain expected in New Taipei as typhoon lingers near Taiwan: CWB

The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) warned of torrential rain on Monday in New Taipei and extremely heavy rain in some parts of northern and eastern Taiwan brought on by the periphery of Typhoon Muifa as it continues to linger in waters east of the country.
