Animal welfare groups protest Leofoo Village plan to import giraffes

A coalition of animal protection groups have called on the government to block plans by Leofoo Village to import three giraffes from Mexico, alleging that eight giraffes at the Hsinchu County safari park died over the last decade due to poor care.
