Tropical Storm Mekkhala forecast to gain strength

Tropical Storm Mekkhala has intensified since forming on Monday morning and will continue to gain strength as it passes through the Taiwan Strait in the evening and on Tuesday, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
