Flu outbreak peaks during Lunar New Year holiday

Taipei, Feb. 12 (CNA) The influenza outbreak climbed to its peak in Taiwan during the ongoing Lunar New Year holiday, with the number of flu-related emergency room visits reaching 10,200 on Feb. 9, the day following Lunar New Year's Day, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said in a statement Friday.
