The campaign, showcasing Taiwan's performing arts groups and national treasures, aims to strengthen cultural and related exchanges between Taiwan and Europe, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) spokesman Hsiao Kuangwei (蕭光偉) told CNA on Thursday.
In the Czech Republic, Lin will attend the opening of the exhibition "100 Treasures, 100 Stories: Treasures from the National Palace Museum," which opens Thursday at the National Museum in Prague, showcasing exhibits from Taiwan's National Palace Museum, Hsiao said.
Hsiao did not give any further details about Lin's trip to Europe, but according to local media reports, it is expected to last more than 10 days.
