Miaoli magistrate's election ruled valid despite vote-buying convictions

The Taiwan Miaoli District Court on Friday rejected a lawsuit seeking to nullify the election of county magistrate Chung Tung-chin (鍾東錦), whose supporters were found guilty of handing out cash bribes to voters last month.
