Taiwan to keep tabs on Japan's planned release of treated nuclear waste water

The Taiwan government will closely monitor Japan's planned release of treated radioactive water from the disabled Fukushima nuclear plant, to ensure that it is done in accordance with international regulations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Taipei said Thursday.
