Keelung to appeal Cabinet's nixing of local referendum on LNG terminal

Keelung will file an administrative appeal against the central government's decision to revoke the city's approval of a local referendum on building a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the city's northern coast, Mayor Hsieh Kuo-liang (謝國樑) said Monday.
