Mayor of Taiwan's largest city visits Singapore for diplomacy

New Taipei Mayor Hou Yu-ih (侯友宜) left for Singapore on Wednesday for a four-day visit which he called "city diplomacy" but is widely seen as an attempt to show he is capable of representing Taiwan on a higher level.
