Taiwan's Navy commander appointed new chief of the general staff

Commander of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Navy Mei Chia-shu (梅家樹) will take office as chief of the general staff, the top commanding post in Taiwan's military, on May 1, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) announced on Tuesday.
