KMT Taipei City councilor to resign to bid for Taoyuan mayoral candidacy

Kuomintang (KMT) Taipei City Councilor Lo Chih-chiang (羅智強) announced on Thursday that he will resign from his position next week to seek his party's nomination to run for mayor of one of Taiwan biggest cities, Taoyuan, showing his determination to win the election scheduled for November.
