Launch ceremony for Taiwan-built landing platform dock on tap

Taiwan's Navy will hold a launch ceremony for the country's first indigenous landing platform dock (LPD) Tuesday, with the new vessel expected to enter into service next year to support amphibious operations and transport missions.
