Taiwan's Legislature on Thursday voted to move ahead with scheduled confirmation votes for 27 Control Yuan nominees the following day, after a scuffle in which the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) successfully retook the speaker's chair from protesting members of the opposition parties.
