Tsai meets with Brookings head, hopes for progress on ties

President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) on Tuesday expressed the hope that more progress will be made on Taiwan-U.S. relations in the future, when meeting with a delegation led by the head of Washington-based policy think tank the Brookings Institution.
