KMT head: Ma-Xi meeting significant step in cross-strait history

An upcoming meeting between President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) and Chinese President Xi Jinping (習近平) in Singapore will be a significant step in cross-Taiwan Strait history, ruling Kuomintang (KMT) Chairman and presidential candidate Eric Chu (朱立倫) said Wednesday.
