Taipei, July 29 (CNA) Chunghwa Post will issue a special set of four stamps on Aug. 4, featuring fairy tales by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen: "The Little Mermaid," "The Snow Queen," "The Little Match Girl," and "The Ugly Duckling."

A matching set of four illustrated postcards will also go on sale for NT$100 (US$3.40) on the same day.

According to a press release, the postcards will be available at 37 philatelic service branches, on the "iPost" platform, and by pre-order at local post offices.

Each NT$8 stamp is designed in a symmetrical, paper-cut style, symbolizing themes of courage, imagination, hope, and transformation drawn from the fairy tales, Chunghwa Post said.
