Taipei, Jan. 23 (CNA) The 2025 Taipei Game Show opened on Thursday with 346 companies from 30 countries in attendance, showcasing over 350 titles.
According to Paul Peng (彭双浪), chairman of the Taiwan Computer Association (TCA) which has organized the annual game exhibition since 2003, there are 1,405 booths at the 2025 edition of the show being held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
This year, the show features three unique sections for the various kinds of games available at the exhibition.
The first section showcases over 350 game titles across multiple platforms including personal computers, smart mobile devices and consoles.
Over 100 of the exhibited games have yet to be released, Peng said.
The second section is Indie House, recognized as Asia's biggest indie game exhibition.
A total of 184 indie game companies from around the world are attending this year's show, Peng added.
Finally, the third section of the show is Board Game Wonderland, a special feature at the exhibition which serves as Taiwan's largest board game carnival for gamers who prefer tabletop fun to being glued to a screen.
