China aircraft carrier 200 nautical miles off Taiwan on training mission: Defense chief

A Chinese aircraft named the Shandong (山東艦) is currently on what is expected to be a long-range training exercises about 200 nautical miles east of Taiwan, and Taiwanese naval frigates are keeping close tabs on its every move, Taiwan's Defense Minister Chiu Kuo-cheng (邱國正) said Thursday.
