Government to help Chinese spouses via cross-strait channels: MAC

Taiwan's government will provide assistance to any Chinese nationals with permanent residency in Taiwan who are facing problems in returning after having gone to China to give up their Chinese household registration, the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) said Monday.
