Taipei, Jan. 7 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Wednesday, gaining NT$0.005 to close at NT$31.521.
Turnover totaled US$1.489 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$31.500, and moved between NT$31.432 and NTT$31.541 before the close.
