Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), the world's largest contract chipmaker, has accelerated its environmental efforts and is aiming to fulfill its 100 percent renewable energy consumption (RE100) target by 2040, 10 years before the original 2050 goal.
