Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), the world's largest contract chipmaker, issued a statement Monday that the company is maintaining the sales guidance for 2023 it made in mid-July, following news reports earlier in the day that TSMC will lower its forecast for the third time this year after weak demand for chips made on mature processes.
