Taiwan shares close down following reported U.S. tech curb on China

Shares in Taiwan moved lower on Wednesday, led by the bellwether electronics industry, in particular artificial intelligence related stocks, after the Joe Biden administration was reported to restrict Chinese companies from using cloud applications developed by American tech developers, dealers said.
