Taiwan to import more eggs as shortage persists in north

The Council of Agriculture (COA) will import 30 million eggs in both April and May as a shortage of eggs persisted in northern Taiwan even after 5.5 million imported eggs hit store shelves in late March, an official said Tuesday.
