Taiwan shares end up but gains limited

Shares in Taiwan closed higher Tuesday but gains were limited as some tech stocks, in particular in the semiconductor industry, fell towards the end of the day amid lingering worries over an increase in interest rates on the U.S. markets, dealers said.
