Hon Hai confirms 'contact' with FPG amid e-car cooperation speculation

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., the world's largest contract electronics maker, confirmed Monday it has recently been "in contact" with Formosa Plastics Group (FPG), one of the largest conglomerates in Taiwan, in a move media speculation suggests is linked to the company's recent heavy investment in electric vehicle development.
