Approved foreign direct investment in first 9 months surpasses US$6 billion

As foreign investors continued to inject funds into Taiwan's renewable energy sector, foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country for the first nine months of this year exceeded US$6 billion, the Investment Commission said Tuesday.
