COVID-19 hits restaurants hard in April, sales lowest in 5 years

Taiwan's food and beverage industry had its worst sales month in April since November 2014 as many consumers preferred to stay at home as a precaution against COVID-19, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Monday.
