Taiwan's economic growth hits 2.56% in first quarter

Taiwan's annual economic growth stood at 2.56 percent in the first quarter of this year, 0.11 percentage points higher than the forecast of 2.45 percent made in February, according to an advance estimate released by the government on Friday.
