Taiwan's R&D spending up 5.6 percent in 2014

Taiwan's spending on research and development (R&D) totaled NT$483.5 billion (US$14.65 billion) in 2014, 5.6 percent higher than the year before, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Monday.
