Tigerair Taiwan, a joint venture between Taiwan's China Airlines and Singapore's Tiger Airways, said Monday it will launch flights between Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan and Tokyo (Narita) on Sept. 1 to capitalize on increasing interest in travel between Taiwan and Japan.
