Cooperation crucial for Taiwan's power transition: ex-U.S. official

Former Deputy U.S. Secretary of State William J. Burns said Wednesday that it is important that Taiwan's incoming and outgoing governments are politically willing to work together to get a lot of important things accomplished during the four-month power transition period before the new government takes office May 20.
