Output of Taiwan's IC industry down over 10% in Q1

The production value of Taiwan's semiconductor industry for the first quarter of this year fell more than 10 percent from a quarter earlier due to the slow-season effect, but momentum is expected to pick up in the second quarter, according to the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association (TSIA).
