Taipei, Sept. 28 (CNA) Taiwan's Hsiang Yu-lin (向玉麟) took home an esports silver medal after losing in the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition final at the Hangzhou Asian Games in China on Thursday.

Hsiang was defeated by South Korea's Kim Gwan-woo in a closely contested 4-3 final in the event -- one of seven esports competitions at the Asian Games, which also include League of Legends, Arena of Valor and EA Sports FC Online.

Meanwhile, Taiwan's Lin Li-wei (林立偉) won a bronze medal in the event after a 4-2 defeat against Hsiang earlier that day.
