Taipei, April 4 (CNA) Weather conditions across Taiwan are expected to remain stable Friday, but cloudy to rainy skies are expected from Saturday onward due to increasing moisture in the atmosphere, according to the Central Weather Administration (CWA).
Daytime highs Friday are expected to hit 25-27 degrees Celsius in western Taiwan and 22-24 degrees in the eastern counties of Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung, data on the CWA website indicated.
After sunset, temperatures could drop to 16-17 degrees Celsius in most parts of Taiwan.
On Saturday, precipitation is likely in northern Taiwan as a cloud system moves in from South China. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 25 degrees Celsius, the CWA said.
Starting Monday, areas throughout the northern half of Taiwan and the eastern counties will experience increased cloud cover and continued rain, with sporadic rainfall extending to the Hengchun Peninsula and mountainous areas in the south, the agency forecast.
