Downpours forecast to ease after dumping 900 mm of rainfall on Yilan

The heavy rain that has been drenching Yilan over the past two days is expected to slacken off Monday and for the rest of the week, after some townships in the northeastern country recorded over 900 millimeters of rainfall in the past 32 hours, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
