Offices, schools to close in parts of Miaoli, southern Taiwan

Offices and schools in Taian Township in Miaoli County and mountainous parts of Kaohsiung and Pingtung will be closed for a second straight day Sunday, after the areas were battered by heavy rain that led to road damage and traffic disruptions.
