Abundant rainfall eases drought in Taiwan, but alert remains

Heavy rainfall recently has eased Taiwan's severe drought conditions that led to water rationing, but Premier Su Tseng-chang (蘇貞昌) warned Tuesday that the drought alert is still in effect and urged the public to continue conserving water.
