The local governments in Taoyuan, Tainan, Taichung, Keelung, Chiayi and Kaohsiung cities have decided against audiences at their respective New Year's Eve celebrations, citing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, and instead will live stream the shows, they said Wednesday.
