Vehicles to be fined for excessive noise from Jan. 1

Owners of motor vehicles can be fined starting Jan. 1, 2021, if their vehicles are determined to emit noise in excess of newly drafted noise pollution standards when being driven, according to the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA).
