Taiwan records youngest case of Japanese encephalitis in 21 years

Four new cases of Japanese encephalitis were confirmed in Taiwan recently, including a 3-month-old baby who was the youngest patient infected in the country since 1999, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said Tuesday.
