Japan envoy praises Taiwan as 'irreplaceable partner'

Japan's top envoy to Taiwan on Thursday praised the "best-ever" Tokyo-Taipei relations and said the two neighbors have become "irreplaceable partners" over the past five decades, despite the lack of official diplomatic ties.
