President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) approved the resignation of Taiwan's representative to Thailand Lee Ying-yuan (李應元) Wednesday after spending less than one year as the nation's envoy, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) saying Lee is leaving due to poor health.
