EU disappointed over execution of death row inmate in Taiwan

The European Union (EU) was "very disappointed" over the Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) administration's execution of a death row inmate in late August and rejects its logic that the death penalty was carried out because capital punishment has yet to be abolished in Taiwan, the top EU envoy to Taiwan said Friday.
