DPP's Chang declares re-election victory in Chiayi County

Incumbent Chiayi County Magistrate Chang Hwa-kuan of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) declared re-election victory as local media showed a wide lead ahead of rival Weng Chung-chun of the Kuomintang (KMT), according to TV vote counts.
