United Daily News: 'Japanese occupation' or 'Japanese rule'?

The history textbooks compiled by three local publishers were recently rejected by a textbook review committee under the Ministry of Education because they refer to Japan's colonization of Taiwan as "Japanese occupation," instead of "Japanese rule."
